Cancellation policy and cancellation form

Consumers have a cancellation right in accordance with the following provisions. A consumer is deemed to be any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are not primarily associated with their commercial or independent professional activities:

A. Cancellation policy

Cancellation right

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without specifying the reasons.
The cancellation period is fourteen days from the date on which you or a third party appointed by you who is not the carrier took possession of the last item.

In order to exercise your cancellation right, you must notify us (Yuneec Europe GmbH, Nikolaus-Otto-Strasse 4, 24568 Kaltenkirchen, Germany, tel.: +49 (0) 4191 93260, fax: +49 (0) 4191 88407, email: [email protected]) of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear statement to that effect (e.g. by letter sent by post, fax or email). You may use the attached cancellation form, but this is not obligatory.

You can also complete and send the cancellation form electronically or submit another form of clear statement on our Website. If you make use of this option, we shall immediately send you confirmation of receipt of your cancellation (e.g. by email).

In order to comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient to have sent notification of your intention to exercise your cancellation right before expiry of the cancellation period.

Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we shall immediately repay to you all of the payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs that result from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), at the latest within fourteen days of the date on which we receive notification of your cancellation of this contract. We shall use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction for this repayment, unless another arrangement has been expressly agreed with you; no fees shall be charged to you for this repayment under any circumstances. We may refuse to make the repayment until the goods have been returned to us or you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.
You must send or hand the goods back to us immediately and in any case at the latest within fourteen days of the date on which you notified us of your intention to cancel this contract. Compliance with this period requires only that you send off the goods before the fourteen-day period elapses.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You must only pay for any reduction in value of the goods if this reduction in value is the result of your handling the goods in a way that is not necessary to check the quality, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion and early expiry of the cancellation right

The cancellation right does not exist for contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or stipulation by the consumer is significant or which have been clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal requirements.

The cancellation right expires early for contracts for the delivery of audio or video recordings or computer software in sealed packaging if the seal has been removed after delivery.

General information

1) Please ensure that the goods are not damaged or dirty. Please return the goods to us in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. Use additional protective packaging around them if necessary. If you no longer have the original packaging, use suitable packaging that ensures that the goods have adequate protection against damage in transit.

2) Please do not return the goods to us freight forward.

3) Please note that 1-2 above are not a requirement for effective exercise of your cancellation right.
